Good intentions and sincere efforts….
Good morning friends,
‘Intention’ and ‘Effort’ have great meaning hidden,
You discover it if you don’t meet with success.
People don’t take you to task why you didn’t,
If using these words you sincerely express:
“I put in best efforts and my intentions were right,
I am sorry it didn’t come out alright.”
No doubt sincere efforts and good intentions,
Are the stuff everyone appreciates.
About success and winning no one has apprehensions,
As history, time and again, so ably demonstrates.
Hence, in getting these right we should exult,
And leave to God the final result.
It is not always that efforts would bear fruit,
There are so many things beyond our hand.
In any case we deal in relative and not absolute.
We should leave things to Him we don’t understand.
With clear conscience let’s put in our best,
And then leave to God to do the rest.
….shall always be rewarded.

I have done a long stint in the Indian Navy that lasted for nearly thirty seven years; I rose as far as my somewhat rebellious and irreverent nature allowed me to. I later realised that every third blog is called 'This 'n That' and changed the name to 'Sunbyanyname'. I detest treading the beaten track. This blog offers me to air 'another way' of looking at things. The idea is not just to entertain but also to bring about a change. Should you feel differently, you are free to leave your comments. You can leave comments even when you agree and want to share your own experience about the topic of the blog post. Impudent or otherwise, I have never been insousciant and I am always concerned about the betterment of community, nation and the world. I hope the visitors of this blog would be able to discern it.

In 900 years of slavery, our DNA has got defective to try and get away with the least we can,
instead of putting a heart and soul into every activity and responsibility.
.This cultural degradation is the root cause of our sufferings otherwise we all know putting best efforts is all that is in our hands not the final outcome and
surrendering to the failure as God’s wish is also a great motivation to improve for better preparation and efforts the next time abound.
One of my favourite quotes is
