We have much to learn from water….
Good Morning Friends,
We have, in our lives, much to learn from Water,
Almost everywhere in God’s world it is seen to fall;
We take ‘fall‘ as negative but it doesn’t seem to matter,
It looks magnificent in fall and doesn’t feel small at all.
Isn’t there a beautiful lesson there for us?
We get emotional about ‘fall‘ and make fuss.
Water’s fall, at most times, is welcomed by all.
We harness it to produce many types of energy.
On parched land when it falls as rain or squall,
Not just with children, it brings all round glee.
As rivers or rivulets it looks so lovely,
Changing courses, colours and being bubbly.
Lets then change our attitude about our own fall,
And think about it that sometimes that we must;
We can quickly rise again and feel strong and tall,
And just because of it not lose our life’s thrust.
Falls small or big shouldn’t be seen as setbacks,
These are transient and never the climax.
….it is magnificent in its fall.

I have done a long stint in the Indian Navy that lasted for nearly thirty seven years; I rose as far as my somewhat rebellious and irreverent nature allowed me to. On retirement, in Feb 2010, the first thing that occurred to me, and those around me, was that I Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (you will find an article with this title in this blog) and hadn't lost all my noodles and hence thought of a blog titled 'This 'n That'. I later realised that every third blog is called 'This 'n That' and changed the name to 'Sunbyanyname'. I detest treading the beaten track. This blog offers me to air 'another way' of looking at things. The idea is not just to entertain but also to bring about a change. Should you feel differently, you are free to leave your comments. You can leave comments even when you agree and want to share your own experience about the topic of the blog post. Impudent or otherwise, I have never been insousciant and I am always concerned about the betterment of community, nation and the world. I hope the visitors of this blog would be able to discern it.

मन तू ज्योत सरूप है अपना मूल पहचान !!

The quickest example that comes to the mind is
We are that droplet of water (the Atma Swaroop), and
HE, the Ocean (Paramatma)…
.
The moment that a DROPLET hits the earth… its Journey Begins
Look at it sheer potential and traits
As a flowing group, the stream has capability to make its way through breaking the rock by repeatedly heating at it,
But it doesn’t
It bows down to the rocky mountain at the valley with all Humidity
And it teaches us because *It has a bigger purpose to achieve, it doesn’t waste energy*,
Flowing along it becomes the lifeline for all the human beings, animals and plants (which also, in turn are the lifeline for human and animals)
.
It Gives soothe from heat, quenches the thirst, whoever comes near,
And even if someone throws garbage, it doesn’t stop to complain and takes away even the garbage to make the person/ habitation clean,
Its journey is 24 by 7 which Saints Seers have reflected in #Ajappa #Jaap , chanting the #Seed #Word with every breath – inhale and exhale, making it a continuous process – the fastest way to reach the objective of human form, to merge with The Supreme.
.
Let us also look at the journey of a droplet… that fails to undertake this journey – .
It stagnates, stales, smells foul and becomes the breeding ground for germs, causing diseases.
.
It’s messages to us are
1. Humility, not to waste time & energy unproductively
2. Be useful to everyone who comes near you
3. Don’t complain if someone puts garbage on you or dump
4. Find your own level and however chequered the route may be, #Keep #Flowing #Relentlessly, till the goal is achieved…

Thank you, Rakesh Aman Bhatia. Very well put, as always. As an aside I am tempted to give you a poem that I wrote many years ago. Please read the comments too.
