GOOD MORNING MESSAGE #181

Merry Christmas!

From the first of June, 2018, I started writing Good Morning messages in the form of poems (Please read: ‘Good Morning Message #1‘).

The last such message was:’Good Morning Message #180‘.

Good morning Friends,

If someone asks: ‘How’s Christmas to be celebrated?’
You may respond, ‘With carols, wine and cake.’
After all, for one full year you have waited,
To enjoy the Christmas holidays and the break.
But, there is something still amiss,
Which you can’t totally dismiss.

If Christmas was all about wine and cake only,
Without assimilating some qualities of Christ;
Then you have made Him, indeed, very lonely,
In vein, His life for you and me, was sacrificed.
Christmas is as much about emulating Christ,
As it is about celebrating Christ.

If someone, because of us, can’t obtain,
Some flicker of Faith, Hope and Love;
If someone close continues to suffer in pain,
There is no point to rejoice in Christ above.
Christmas without kindness in your heart,
Shall make all celebration fall apart.

So lets’s at least one quality of Christ assimilate,
And spread His message through our deeds;
Then only we have a right to truly celebrate,
Someone who lived and died for our needs.
Merry Christmas my dear friends,
Let’s start the day by making amends.

Let Christ be born in our hearts too!
