From the first of June, 2018, I started writing Good Morning messages in the form of poems (Please read: ‘Good Morning Message #1‘).
The last such message was: ‘Good Morning Message #9‘.
Here is my tenth day verse:
Have a sleepy Sunday.
Sundays are meant for rest,
The body is hence wired;
We still put it to test,
Even though we are retired.
Hence my wish of sleeping Sunday,
So that you can put up your feet;
Let leisure have its way,
And here is the apt tweet:
“Breathes there a man with soul so dead,
Who never to his bed-mate said:
To hell with the breakfast,
Come back to the bed.”
I rest my case!

I have done a long stint in the Indian Navy that lasted for nearly thirty seven years; I rose as far as my somewhat rebellious and irreverent nature allowed me to. On retirement, in Feb 2010, the first thing that occurred to me, and those around me, was that I Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (you will find an article with this title in this blog) and hadn't lost all my noodles and hence thought of a blog titled 'This 'n That'. I later realised that every third blog is called 'This 'n That' and changed the name to 'Sunbyanyname'. I detest treading the beaten track. This blog offers me to air 'another way' of looking at things. The idea is not just to entertain but also to bring about a change. Should you feel differently, you are free to leave your comments. You can leave comments even when you agree and want to share your own experience about the topic of the blog post. Impudent or otherwise, I have never been insousciant and I am always concerned about the betterment of community, nation and the world. I hope the visitors of this blog would be able to discern it.

When I was browsing for songs based on raagas I found your blog .I have seen some your postings really you are great. You have been doing a yemon service to the music lovers.
Sir
My hearty congratulations to you.
One of my friends referred a hindi song
“Jab jab bahaar aayee in Taqdeer 1968 sung by
Md.rafi sab.he says that same song was sung
By jesudas garu in a malayalam film vidhi
My request
Can you throw some light and also in which raaga the song is tuned
Thanks and regards
Sesha babu
Thank you. Glad that you like my efforts.
Jan jab bahaar aayee sung by Rafi and Yesudas is available on the net and was forwarded to me on WhatsApp. Both have sung it great.

I have regards for Yesudas’s singing as he is the only one who attempted Rafi’s O duniya ke rakhwale, a very difficult song in Raag Darbari Kanada.
To the best of my knowledge Jab jab bahaar aayee is not based on any raaga though having traces of Raag Khammaj in it.
Sir
Thank you very much for immediate response.
Good day
Sesha babu
